A family consisting of parents and kids only is a simple definition of a nuclear family. The size of the family crucially depends on the number of children. Hence, furnishings in a nuclear family would rely a lot on the size of the family. Ideally, parents with two or three children are there in a majority of the cases, but if God has blessed you with more, you are lucky to have a lot of liveliness and fun times around the house. A few items that you would want in your home would be.
- Living room / TV lounge
A large sofa set with a couple of one or two-seaters would be great to have in here. Most families have a TV in their living room so families can sit together to enjoy a late-night movie together on a Friday night with some popcorn.
- Master Bedroom
A master bedroom for parents can have a bed, side tables with drawers, and dressing. Some sort of seating arrangement is always good to have in the room. The parents can also have a TV in their room to watch movies they cannot watch with kids, especially as several movies you can enjoy with your partner are rated 18+. If you want, a mini-fridge can also be kept in the room for quick access to water and other edibles.
- Kids bedroom
An only child will enjoy the luxury of complete control over the room, but if siblings share they can double beds or bunk beds with one corner of the room dedicated to studying. A cupboard where they can store their toys and other accessories is essential.
