Everyone loves to decorate their houses, and a crucial part of that décor is curtains. The selection of the correct color and fabric of the curtain can bring an entirely different look to the house. Here are a few examples of what choices to make.

  1. Master Bedrooms

In a bedroom, you would like convenience rather than a luxury. The most common choice is cotton fabric, as it is breathable and light. Cotton also required minimum maintenance and can be washed easily at home. However, if you prefer other materials, then silk and linen are great choices too.

  1. Living room

In a living room, you can go for silk to make it look classic and traditional. Curtains in self-print in combination with a contrasting hood have been an excellent choice. Linen and cotton are also selected as they are airy. Cotton is super easy to clean as well.

  1. Drawing room

Velvet all the way. Velvet in the drawing-room is one of the most preferred fabrics. Your room will reflect radiance and a luxurious outlook. It needs good maintenance but the room is just for guests and is not frequently used. Velvet is the perfect option here.

  1. Dining

If you have windows in the dining room, the most convenient way to cover them is with blinds. Curtains can also be used here, preferably cotton and a lighter shade to make the room appear larger than it actually is.

  1. Kid’s room/playroom

Kids’ room or the playroom can get a lot on the curtains and it is recommended that these rooms have washable or wipeable curtains or blinds. Let them enjoy and be creative.
