Arranging all of the furniture in a small apartment bedroom can be quite tricky, especially if you plan on using your bedroom for more than just sleeping in. However, with the right design and furnishing approach, you can conveniently arrange the bedroom furniture in a small apartment room without making it all bizarrely fall in your face.

Follow our top tips here.

Symmetry is Important: Place the bed in the center of the largest wall of the bedroom, which will most likely be the one facing the doorway. Place nightstands on either side of the bed. If there’s not much space in the room eliminate the nightstands completely.

A Small Office Desk beside Your Bed: Now that you have eliminated the nightstands, you can use one side of the bed to set up a small office desk which you could also use as an alternate for your nightstand.

A Wall Mounted Mirror &Console: Forget the big bulky dressers, make the most of your space with a wall-mounted mirror and a small console to replace your dresser. You can also look for small console-sized dressers to place against the wall opposite your bed.

Closet with Sliding Doors: Nothing suits an apartment bedroom better than a closet with sliding doors. It takes away the worry of having to leave enough space to comfortably open the doors and use the closet. You can place the closet on the other side of your bed if you have removed both the nightstands.

Under-Bed Storage: To add up more storage space to your bedroom, get a bed that also has under-bed storage so you can tuck away seasonal items when not needed.
